Set in Indonesia, the single fin, twin, and thruster, provide a platform through which to appreciate surfing’s inherent boundaries, and how they can be challenged.

"Leave the concave in the cupboard, you want an ultra thin, foiled rail (something that will break a shin if it connects), subtle roll throughout the bottom, bladed almost flat, with ever so slightly upturned tall in the nose, & ounce volan deck with straight edge deck patch (aesthetic, aesthetic), another 8 ounces on the bottom to make this thing to sit low in the water and handle an off shore breeze etc... constant references to Sam and Nat as you massage everything into place, but the key here is the spice... a must have shaped (note: SHAPED not glassed - v important) edge in the last 4-6 inches of tail - cause fuck it, a touch of modernity can't hurt. Finally, neglect to sand the gloss coat to counter the modern look of that tail - and watch the sections fly by."
